This program is for those interested in evidence-based yoga and its role in healthcare and wellness practices.Approximately 40 million people in the US practice yoga today; as the popularity of this practice has grown, the need for empirical studies to investigate its efficacy has become significant.
Practitioners seek yoga out as a tool for increased wellness. Physicians are suggesting/ prescribing yoga as an adjunct therapy for many physical and mental ailments. It is imperative for leaders in the field of yoga to have the knowledge to communicate with other professionals in the health care industry.
