Natalie will share her two loves: Her indigenous roots and her love of yoga.   By sharing this attunement, she will guide you to connect with your deeper roots and your sense of “Great Love”.      Maha Mahal is a Tagalog-Sanskrit mantra.  “Maha”, in Sanskrit, means “great”, “noble”.  “Mahal”, in Tagalog, a language native to the Philippines and that has an extraordinary amount of Sanskrit derivatives, means “love”, “precious”, “dear”, “expensive”. This mantra allows for reflection on the transcendence of sacred language and the “Great Love” that flows from the language of the heart.     “There is wisdom in our heritage and ancestry that comes from a relationship with the land.  [There is a wisdom in realizing our own indigenous roots. There is a wisdom in learning about these roots] and connecting them with the way we walk on the earth today,” says fellow Filipino-yogini and sacred artist Christine Jugueta.    Everyone has a deep and personal message of wisdom from their ancestors.  It is a message of “Great Love”.  You will be guided to feel this “Great Love” coming from the spirit of your own people and from your own authentic heart.    This is an invitation, not only to come home to yourself, but to step closer to the source of  “Great Love”.  In this practice, you will have the opportunity to shift your relationship with yourself, your body, your choices and your circle.  You will have the space to remember where you truly come from.  Through this sadhana, you will experience your breath as a force that has been passed through generations and you will feel your footprints on the path of your own people.  Come and celebrate this connection, this Great Love!  Maha Mahal!
