Cyber-bullying. Peer pressure. Mental health issues such as anxiety and stress. These are just a few of the many challenges that today’s children are facing. Did you know that the children of the world need your help more than ever? Are you called to teach children yoga? Children’s Yoga in schools is becoming more popular and accepted in classrooms all over America. Ana Camacho-Hansen, author of Yoga for Big Hearts and Little Hands: A Handbook of Yoga Poses for Children, offers her experiences of teaching yoga to children from the ages of one to eighteen. Participants in this workshop will get an extensive introduction of how to teach children’s yoga. Ana Camacho-Hansen will cover age-appropriate yoga postures and mediation techniques, yoga games, peace curriculum and much more. Participants will receive practical lesson plans for children of all grade levels and ages. Ana Camacho-Hansen’s passion is to work with dedicated community servants in spreading peace curriculum in schools all over America.
